This web site has been set up to act as a virtual community for the residents of Armoury Road, Deptford. London.

Personally, having lived here for a total of two-and-a-half years it has often struck me how little there is in the way of interaction or communication between neighbours and residents.

In these changing times with with no local physical community facilities available and with people working in different places and at different times it is very difficult to meet and discuss issues with fellow residents.

As a result, an idea formed to build a virtual community area where residents and neighbours have a facility to air their views and concerns. This has the advantage of being accessible by all and it doesn't matter where you work or what hours you keep.

As it is a community site it is important that the site reflects the wishes of the community as a whole, so if you have any suggestions or comments relating to the site or its contents then please email the webmaster at: webmaster@armouryroad.com.

It is intended that the site is fairly straightforward to use, so feel free to have a look around and please post any contributions through the community section: it is your website and will only be successful through your input.
